Emmy-winning actor Kit Connor, best known for his role in ‘Heartstopper,’ has been cast as the lead in the upcoming mystery-horror film ‘One Of Us.’ Filming for this intriguing project is set to kick off later this month in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
In ‘One Of Us,’ an allegorical story unfolds as members of a family start to meet their demise one by one during a funeral. Amidst this eerie backdrop, the youngest family member, portrayed by Kit Connor, embarks on a quest to uncover the mysterious stranger hidden among them.
The film boasts a talented ensemble cast that includes Callum Woodhouse (‘The Durrells’), Charlotte Hope (‘The Spanish Princess’), Siobhan Fallon-Hogan (‘Rushed’), and Ian Beattie (‘Game Of Thrones’). This cinematic endeavor is a joint collaboration between the Jung School and Northern Ireland Screen, and it marks the directorial debut of writer-director Stefan van de Graaff.

The film’s Director of Photography is Bianca Cline, who recently contributed her talents to the Oscar-nominated feature ‘Marcel The Shell With Shoes On’ in the Best Animation category this season.

Kit Connor is set to reprise his role as Nick Nelson in the second season of Netflix’s ‘Heartstopper,’ continuing the love story with his classmate Charlie Spring, portrayed by Joe Locke. His outstanding performance in the first season earned him the Outstanding Lead Performance award at the inaugural Children’s and Family Emmys.
