The first pictures from the set of Young Royals 3, the third and final season of the critically acclaimed Swedish Netflix series, have been shared on Instagram by Edvin Ryding. Wilhelm, a Swedish prince (played by Ryding), is the main character. He is sent to the Hillerska, a prestigious boarding school, where he will make new friends, accept his sexual orientation, and fall in love. When he unexpectedly inherits the throne, everything is altered. He will have to make a decision due to his deep dilemma: duty or love?

In addition to Ryding, the extremely young actors are seen side by side for the final time on the set with Omar Rudberg, his great television love, and Malte Gårdinger in the publicly shared Instagram photos.
Lisa Ambjörn is the series’ author; the 12 episodes that have been broadcast to date were directed by Lisa Farzaneh, Erika Calmeyer, Rojda Sekersöz, and Kristina Humle. Additionally, Netflix unveiled a 30-second clip featuring the cast coming back together for the season’s first script reading.

As they head back to the set to begin filming their last episodes, it’s heartbreaking to watch them embrace.
